A further step forward in Cipriani’s growth
Starting December 16, 2024, our calculation software will offer the new 301+ and 451+ plates, completing the new DN100 range characterized by an innovative and deeper channel geometry.
The goal is to make our offering more competitive in the Energy & Environment and Fluid Utilities sectors, thanks to energy savings, particularly in plug-and-play systems and heat recovery from fluids with residual solids or higher viscosity.
These new models reduce clogging even in HVAC applications (especially in open circuits), requiring less maintenance while maximizing durability and taking advantage of the superior quality of our gaskets.
The two new plates represent a further step forward in the growth of CIPRIANI PHE thanks to the knowledge gained, decades of experience in industrial sectors, and most importantly, recent investments in production capacity.
Compared to previous models, the 301+ and 451+ plates stand out primarily for their 3mm channel depth, an absolute innovation for Cipriani PHE. This feature ensures low-pressure drops even with high flow rates, viscous fluids (such as oils or glycols), and fluids containing solid residues and fine particles.
These two new heat exchanger models have been designed to ensure optimal hydraulic efficiency without compromising thermal performance, complementing the 455+ and 705+ models in the same range, designed to achieve maximum thermal performance.
Other innovations include the new plate alignment system, ensuring perfect coupling starting from the four outer corners, and the innovative plug-in fixing system on the diagonal, ensuring perfect gasket positioning and facilitating all post-sales maintenance operations.
How our plates are born
The launch of these two new plates is the result of the complete renewal project of the entire DN100 range. Following last year’s introduction of the high-efficiency 455+ and 705+ plates with a reduced 2.2mm channel, the 301+ and 451+ plates have been introduced with a deeper 3.0mm channel to meet the needs of applications requiring extremely low-pressure drops or use with high-viscosity fluids.
CFD software has become an essential tool in the development process of our new geometries, allowing us to refine the heat exchange surface with an optimized design of corrugations and contact points, even in the distribution triangle area. Numerous laboratory tests have been conducted on both the mold and the finished product to confirm the design using the simulator, ensuring the quality and reliability that have always characterized the Cipriani PHE brand.
